PASTOR’S MINISTER’S CONFERENCE
The Pastor's Conference was formed during a meeting with Reverend S. H. Hardaway,
Reverend C. P Long and Reverend A. T. Griffey, Sr.
Reverend Hardaway presented the idea as a result of attending a pastors' Conference in
Jackson Tennessee. After much praying and planning the Cumberland River, South
Kentucky Middle Tennessee Baptist District Association established its first Pastors'
Conference.
On April 12, 1971, the very first District Pastors' Conference was held at the Clarksville
Baptist School of Religion. The theme for the week was "New testament Church Policy."
The Guest Speaker was Dr. J.J. Stevenson who was the State Missionary of Kentucky
Baptist general Association, Paducah, Kentucky. The week's conference was very
productive.
